CINNAMON APPLE OATMEAL

Here is another easy recipe you can make for the family in your Instant Pot. So easy, minimal ingredients, and healthy! Perfect for school mornings when there isn’t much time. We love maple syrup, pecans, and raisins with the recipe, but you can obviously use whatever toppings you like!

CINNAMON APPLE OATMEAL

Here is another easy recipe you can make for the family in your Instant Pot. So easy, minimal ingredients, and healthy! Perfect for school mornings when there isn't much time. We love maple syrup, pecans, and raisins with the recipe, but you can obviously use whatever toppings you like!

Equipment

  • Instant Pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Large Apples (peeled and chopped)
  • 4 Tbsp Salted butter
  • 4 cups Old fashioned Oats
  • 3 cups Unsweeted Almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Toppings Maple syrup, pecans, raisins (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Peel and dice the apples into small bite size pieces.
  • Turn the Instant Pot onto Saute mode.
  • Put the butter in the pot and allow it to melt.
  • Once melted, add in the oats. Toast them for 3 to 4 minutes stirring often.
  • Pour in the milk, water, cinnamon, salt and apples.
  • Put the lid on the pot in SEALING position.
  • Hit the cancel button to turn the Saute mode off. Then hit the manual button (or high pressure button) for 3 minutes.
  • Once the timer goes off, release the valve to let out the steam.
  • Stir the oatmeal and its ready to serve. Top with maple syrup, pecans, and raisins. Enjoy!
