MONGOLIAN BEEF NOODLES

This Mongolian Ground Beef Noodles recipe is made with ground beef, linguine noodles, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic.

Ingredients

  • 16 oz package of linguine noodles
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 inch chunk of freshly grated ginger (or 1/2 tsp ground ginger)
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • diced green onions (for garnish)
  • toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, prepare your sauce. Whisk together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, ginger, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Set aside.
  • In a large saucepan, boil your noodles according to package directions.
  • In a large deep saute pan, brown the hamburger meat until no longer pink.
  • Pour the sauce into the meat. Give it a good stir and simmer for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
  • When the noodles are done, drain the water then pour the noodles into the beef sauce mixture. Stir well to coat all the noodles. Let sit for a few minutes to allow the noodles to soak up all the sauce.
  • Garnish with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
